I’ve been asked to describe what this book is about.
If you were to ask my husband he would say about 120 pages.
This book starts off by giving a background to the start of my journey which was in my talent for dancing. My ability to pivot a little or a lot was not a foreign concept to me. As I continued my journey I discovered who God was and I started to change my thought processes and priorities. I underwent changes in life circumstances such as family, work and finally chronic health issues. Through it all my abilities, gifts and talents changed and grew as I allowed God to guide me towards the next doorway.
I never know what’s through the next door, what new gift or talent may pop up next as I trust him. The hard part for me is remembering to lay down my own stubbornness and pride and let Him take control of my life. It’s only then that I get to experience the true joy and peace no matter what I’m going through physically.
I’m honest through the pages of this book about my faults and things like depression and low self-worth and how God helped me through these and other experiences.
At the end of this book I’ve listed the steps that have helped me to get into a closer walk with God. Have I succeeded in following them 100% all the time? No. But I know that they work, I’ve seen the evidence in my life. We have to remember that none of us are perfect. Never give up. The race isn’t finished until we see Jesus face to face.
